Tiger cowries are in my opinion not reef safe as they tend to eat mollusks and sometimes coral. They do have a tendency to knock over things when they move around but that part doesnt make them non reef safe. That simply means that they can knock stuff over like mexican turbo snails. _________________ www.thefishguy.org

I borrowed Juice's huge Deer Cowrie when my tank was trying to become a salad bar. It was huge and clumsy. I don't thi nk it ate any of my corals, but Juice held my insane Aussie Blastos, cause he said the cowrie sometimes sucks the flesh off his blastos....he said it always grows back, but he didn't want me having a coronary if it ate the Monster Blastos....It took my 75 from full-fledged hairball to managable in a week.... _________________ ....of course Mitch wants a frag of it....Mitch is a coral whore......(stated by mrcrab)
Remember, the corals do all the work.....I just try to give them a decent place to do it....
Anybody need any Lizard Jerky??
